Nana's Sunday Morning Frittata
Pair with a delicious Deaver Vineyards "Dellini" Cocktail (Recipe available ONLINE)

The Deaver family has been a part of the Amador County community since the Gold Rush Era of the 1850s.

Mrs. Bobbie Deaver -- Nana -- is the matriarch of the current generations of the Deaver Family. She remains a cherished part of the whole Shenandoah Valley of Amador County wine region.

The recipes Nana has created and developed over the years are legendary for their wonderful flavors and the gracious table at which they are served. We hope you'll enjoy this one as much as we do.

Ingredients:

12 eggs
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 cups small curd cottage cheese
1 pound shredded jack cheese
1/2 cup melted butter
1 7 ounce can diced green chilies

Method:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Place eggs in mixer and beat. Add flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and cottage cheese until well incorporated. Stir in jack cheese, butter, and green chilies. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes or until firm. Remove from oven and cool for 3 to 5 minutes. Cut into serving pieces; serve with bacon or sausage, fresh fruit, and a Deaver Vineyards refreshing Dellini cocktail (Recipe available online here)
