 Deaver Vineyards Super Bowl
Red Pepper Romano Bruschette

Ingredients:

1 small French Baguette, sliced 1-inch thick
3 cloves garlic, sliced in half
1 jar Robert Rothschild Farm Red Pepper & Romano  Bruschette
       Topping
9 oz San Joaquin Gold Cheese or your favorite cheese, shredded
1 bunch fresh basil (enough to place one leaf on each slice)
Sea salt and pepper to taste

Method:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

On baking sheet place baguette slices. Toast in oven for 2 – 3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and quickly rub the toasted side of each slice with sliced garlic.

Ladle about a tablespoon of Robert Rothschild Farm Red Pepper & Romano Bruschette Topping on each baguette slice, and then sprinkle cheese evenly over all slices. Place back in the oven and melt cheese slightly, thirty to forty-five seconds. Remove from the oven and salt and pepper to taste. Place bruschette on colorful platter and garnish each slice with one fresh basil leaf. 

Makes about 18 bruschette slices
