Zin-B-Q Sauce
Recipe

Ingredients:


2   tbsp butter
1   cup Deaver Vineyards Signature Zinfandel
1   cup ketchup
2   tbsp vinegar
2   tsp salt
1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper
1/4 cup onion, grated or finely chopped
2   cloves garlic, grated
2   tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2   tbsp lemon juice
2   tbsp brown sugar
1   tsp dry mustard powder

Preparation:

In a medium sauce pan melt butter and saute onions and garlic until soft. Add remaining ingredients. Stir occasionally and simmer for about 20 minutes or until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat, and allow to cool before using.

Makes 2 cups of sauce.

Slather this yummy sauce on beef, chicken, or pork during the last few minutes on the grill. 

Serve with a glass of Deaver Vineyards Signature Zinfandel in the company of good friends.
